‘Felix Ever After’ by Kacen Callender is a wonderful coming of age book that I wish I could have read as a teenager. It's incredibly diverse and tackles many important issues.
The story follows Felix Love, a teenager who lives at the intersection of three marginalizations: gender, sexuality, and race. Felix struggles with his identity and with love—or rather with: not having been in love before.
Felix’s story is so moving and I’m sure very relatable to many teenagers.
CW: transphobia, deadnaming/outing
