Italian food is to die for! And while it's not traditionally vegan, many places now cater to vegan diets. Here are our favorite places, including the dishes we had!

Vegan Mixed Brunch Plate at Shake Café Firenze. This one is definitely for sharing! But it’s also sooo good! And they follow sustainability goals!

Smashed Avocado Toast at Ditta Artigianale. It might be the best avocado toast we’ve ever had!

Pizza Vegetariana with vegan cheese at New Bridge Pizza Club. No eggplant in our case, because Cora is allergic. They also have gluten-free pizza!

Pizza Mediterranea at Berberè Pizzeria.

Gelato at Edoardo il Gelato Biologico. It’s all organic and you’ll have the best view of Florence Cathedral!

Bologna
Pizza Alba at il Rovescio. They are sustainable and have organic pizza!

Unica al-mond (no eggplant cream for me) at Fradiavolo Pizza. The service was fabulous and the place was so unique! Also: designated gender neutral bathroom!

Tigelle with Friggione (overcooked onions) at Zerocinquantuno Bologna. They have locations all over Bologna, but we went to Tigelleria Bologna Centro two years in a row. The tigelle are good, but the service the second time was mixed—one person told Cora to go somewhere else as a vegan with an eggplant allergy.

Panino Sandrone at Pan8. They also have gluten-free panini!

Pizza at Pizzeria l'Angelo in Venice. They only sell takeout, but the vegan pizza was so tasty!

Tigelle at La Tigella Verona. They had the best tigelle with so many delicious spreads and dressings!
